Would it have even been considered an issue if the genders were reversed?

A Korean male coach got jailed last year for sexually assaulting a female student
(attempted rape). That caused far less of an outcry and that was way more serious.

As well he ought. If he was found guilty of rape, banish him, send him to jail and never let him see another student again.

I'm not saying that a consensual (if it was consensual) relationship should result in a three year ban, whatever the genders. But I think if a 15 year old woman had reported a consensual relationship with an 18 year old man, the outcry would be far less about the poor put upon 18 year old man.

Just me🤷‍♀️

Thank you for the link @lilimum . I am planning to be in Oberstdorf over Christmas and wanted to buy a ticket for this event but didn't know who was performing or how to access tickets.
If this show works like Nebelhorn Trophy, I can confirm what @lilimum says. I did it that way, and no issue. I used the email address on the event's (or rink's, I can't recall now) website to ask about ticket reservation. A staff member sent me payment data, I paid by transfer, and upon receiving the payment she wrote to me that my tickets were available at the ticket counter in the rink hall.

Good to see Haein still active and getting show opportunities.

German Fed should convice her to stay in Germany and compete for Germany. Acquiring skaters from abroad is the only way to success for them. Who knows if she ever will have a change to compete for Korea again.
