That fall came out of nowhere. Love Minerva and Nikita's skating. My one complaint from last year is that I wanted them to improve their interpretation and they have. This program is really well crafted to show their growth. The size of their elements is so satisfying.

You know, if we hadn't been told, you wouldn't have known that Minerva was not well. That was really good!

I think that's the most I have ever enjoyed their performance. She was really performing. (he still wasn't but it was an improvement) Obviously, some small technical problems.

She probably infected him too. He was probably watching her and tracking her and leaned too far back on his heel.MiNiki were going sooooo well until Nikita splatted during step sequence
Are we sure it's Minerva who got sick and not Nikita?

In pairs, yes, it is a small problem to fall on a step sequence. It's not ice dance. No lift came down, no possible head trauma. So, yes, to me.. small...small technical problems is not what i would describe a fall

that throw right on the music is amazing and they did great. that said the best carmen this year is Christina Carreira

For some reason, Sara and Niccolo's twist is normally an indicator of how the skate will go. Today, a lovely, clean level 4 meant a pristine clean skate. Loved the throw landed right on the music and their energy and passion throughout. They don't have quite the same flow as Minerva and Nikita, but they certainly had spades of performance and the skate of the night.

I really prefer C/M as a team so much over the Germans even with this music choice. They don't really have wow elements, but it is a nice overall package and it isn't cold. They should win today.
