What are you listening to right now?

Really shocked to wake up to the news that Liam Payne has died at the age of just 31. Too young!

I admit that I wasn't a big fan of One Direction. But I was a fan of Liam. Right back to when he appeared on the 2008 series of "The X Factor".

Although I was all in favour of separating the "Unders" category into "Boys" and "Girls" categories in 2007 (hey, I was annoyed that they didn't do it for the "Overs" category too!), I did not approve of lowering the minimum age from 16 to 14. But then Liam Payne turned up as a 14 year old in the 2008 series. I thought he was great! And I was annoyed when he was put out not once but twice! He was put out at Bootcamp, then brought back for Judges Houses, and then put out again.

So, I was delighted when he returned in 2010. And he was great again. But he was then put out at Bootcamp again. And brought back at Judges Houses again, this time as part of a put together group. Although it meant he was back in the competition, I didn't agree with that, because he was the only one of the group that I thought was any good. And I felt that being in a group would kill off his chances of a career in music.

How wrong was I?!

So, as my tribute, I'm taking it back to where it all began. His "X Factor" auditions from both 2008 and 2010:

Liam Payne - "Fly Me To The Moon"

Liam Payne - "Cry Me A River"

My thoughts go out to his family, friends and fans.

was listening a song of the Chilean singer Maria Color a song titled Me gusta la vida (l like life) that is one of my favorite's songs and another song No depende de mi (don't depend on me) a tv appearance in a morning tv show since 7 years ago

a curiosity in the CD artwork appears some colorful draws and with some motivational messages like " sometimes there's storm, it will disappear" and a small ship draw navigating over troubled sea and things like that

A song from the Argentinean pianist Raul DiBlasio - Corazón de niño . is very interesting the story behind that song what mean every part note of it ... The song was created dedicated to DiBlasio's son and every part and score of the song symbolize stages of the life ..

here the full explanation from DiBlasio of every part of the songs (subtitles available) in a way very funny , the explanation of every note is from 5 minutes 38 sec.

The ABC have done a five hour special on the 50th anniversary of the Aussie music show Countdown (I was a small kid, but like every other kid or teen in the country, I watched it every week and pretty much everyone who was anyone in pop/rock worldwide was on it) and I really think a tape of some of the episodes should have been provided to all the ice dancers, we'd've got some decent RD music and costumes.

Oh, and Kate Bush is currently singing Hammer Horror and Wow. I think Piper (okay, and Paul but mostly Piper) needs to skate to Kate Bush.

Slightly different Carol of the Bells

Slightly different Carol of the Bells
Yet another version of the Carol of the Bells from the one my partner and I are using in our club's holiday show next weekend, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Eve/Sarajevo. According to Wikipedia,"The piece describes a lone cello player (based on Vedran Smailovic) playing a forgotten Christmas carol in war-torn Sarajevo."

I tried posting a link to that version in another GS thread and the link didn't work. Maybe this time lucky with a different recording of it:
