Blanca FIDALGO BOLBAS (MAD) from the Valdemoro club was wearing a white crop top and black short shorts.

And the first thing I thought was "she is bound to be foundered out there!"

Oh, and she was "doing a Loena" a few times.

Blanca, you are too young for this type of programme.

Mara CONDE HIDALGO (MAD) from the Valdemoro club was wearing a beautiful long royal blue dress.

The audio is awful on the stream, and although I could hear enough to know that I recognised the song, I couldn't tell you what it was.

I loved that programme.

Awwww, Mara and Blanca sitting together, chatting away. And then a massive hug!

Mara had a 2.44 point lead over her team-mate going into the Free.

And she extends it.

Hang on. The girl in 2nd position is skating before the girl in 3rd position?! How come they are not skating in reverse order of the current standings?

Ah, they are. It's the livescoring page up the creek!

First to skate is actually the girl in 3rd position, Nadia Susana BERROCAL D´HULST (MAD) from the Valdemoro club.

She is wearing a red jumpsuit that is trying to look like a matching bra and leggings set. (To further complicate matters, we can see a black bra sticking out from under it).

Although she is older than the skaters we have seen so far, it is still uncomfortable watching her "doing a Loena".

Nevertheless, she skated well.

Irina Shaila RÍOS GRANDE (AST) from C.H. Carrilana, the only skater here from a club in the Asturias, came out and got into the position. And the music played for a split second, and then stopped. And the referee blew the whistle.

Irina started going around the rink. And then went over to the panel, and went out again. And then over to her coach. And then started practicing again.

I have no idea what is going on. But, it is turning into a lengthy delay.

Aha! The whistle has been blown ahain. And she has been introduced again.

Fingers crossed that everything works this time!

That's what the problem was. It was the wrong music.

Irina is skating to "Swan Lake". And when you look at her dress, that makes sense. It is black, with a silver pattern that looks like feathers.

I wonder if the wrong music being played was because the livescoring page had her in the wrong starting slot?

Well, it was worth the wait. She was good!

As soon as she finished, one of the commentators said "Wow!" And then the other agreed.

Well, I would put her into the lead. But, I'm not sure we will find out yet, because the livescoring thinks she has already skated, and has scored absolutely nothing.

Finishing off the Juniors was Lucía SÁNCHEZ PARDOS (CAT) from FC Barcelona. She was wearing a beautiful black dress with what looks like a blue silk belt.

And it wasn't just the costume that was beauitiful. So was the music and the skating.

Am I going mad, or did the amount of blue increase as the programme went on? And then started decreasing again towards the end?

Have we actually got a dress that changes colour during the programme?!

She only led by 0.43 points going into the Free, but I would have Lucía extending that lead.

Well, I don't know the result, but she and her team seem happy anyway.

The Seniors started with Patricia BÁZQUEZ MARTÍN (ESP) from Club de Hielo Rioja being Italian.

But, you could hardly hear the music due to the support she was getting from the audience.

She was wearing a black Olè dress , with red trim and a red petticoat underneath.

Mind you, I would be worried about the material that looks like a red pony tail attached to the back of her dress. If it gets caught in a blade...

What a start!

It's just a pity that she was 10 points behind the other girl going into the Free. Because that could have put her in contention.

The fluorescent green jacket does not go with her dress at all.

She's happy with her score. Whatever it was.

Ángela MARTÍN MORA ÁLVAREZ (ARA) from C.H. Jaca is the only skater this week from a club in Aragon.

And we have another Olè! But this time it is a red dress, with green sleeves and scarf. Oh, and she has two flowers in her hair.

She finishes doing the splits!

To be honest, I preferred the other girl's Free Dance programme. But, this girl was good too, and she will definitely win overall. It's just a question of who will win the Free Dance.

But, we won't find out until later.

Drat! I was away too long and missed the Warm-Up completely.

Now that the Solo dancers are finished, it is time for the partnerships. 3 Junior partnerships; followed by 4 Senior partnerships.

We start with two partnerships from the Valdemoro club fighting it out over 2nd and 3rd. Just 2.85 points between them going into the Free.

And Lara SUNDBERG / Héctor GONZÁLEZ ELVIRA (MAD) kicked it off in a beautiful manner. The music was beautiful. The costumes were beautiful. And the skating was beautiful.

HOWEVER, although they were beautiful, the two costumes did not go together at all. Lara was wearing a pale blue dress. Héctor was wearing a dark blue shirt and black trousers. And they really clashed.

But, when everything was as beautiful as that was, who cares?!

They have thrown the gauntlet down to their team-mates up next.

Just from the costumes alone, this looks like it could be interesting from the second Valdemoro partnership, Sofía PASCUAL MATEOS / Sergio PARRA ALMONACID (MAD).

Sofía is wearing a red skirt and an open red jacket with gold trim over a black bra. Sergio is wearing a matching red jacket with gold trim over a black jumpsuit.

It was a very intense programme.

There was one point when I think they made a mistake. And it was right in front of the Judges.

I think I preferred their team-mates.

But, the livescoring is still not working, so we'll have to wait to see which of them ends up ahead.

Well, judging by Sofía's reaction, I think they have!

First of Sara and Kirill's partnerships.

After their very strange costumes yesterday, Sara MARCILLY VÁZQUEZ / Jolan ENGEL (MAD) didn't let us down today either.

They were doing a "Lion King" programme. Sara was wearing a pale brown T-shirt with a tribal wreath on it. And camouflage leggings. Jolan was wearing a jumpsuit that was soil coloured at the top, and worked it's way down to being black.

No, seeing them sitting waiting for their scores, the costumes are a lot more intricate than they look from a distance.

Well, with the lead they had coming into the Free, we knew they were going to win overall. And although we won't see the scores, I have no doubt that they will win the Free as well.

Right, we have FC Barcelona partnerships topping and tailing the comeptition, with the two Sara and Kirill partnerships in the middle.

First up are Athena Faith ROBERTS / Eric ALÍS BOSQUET (CAT). Athena is wearing an off-white dress with a gold pattern on the front and a grey petticoat; while Eric is wearing all black.

Athena had a costume change in the second half! She is now wearing all black too. I didn't see that one coming!

I don't know if it is just the way it is coming through the stream, but I don't like the music.

The skating was good, though.

They were 10.10 points behind the next partnership after the Short, so it would take a lot of things to go their way to move up onto the podium. But, they made their point.

Now for the first of Sara and Kirill's partnerships. big cheers for Philomene SABOURIN / Raul BERMEJO GUTIERREZ (MAD) when they were introduced.

Philomene is wearing a red Olè dress . Raul is wearing a white shirt and black trousers.

I wouldn't really describe this as Olè music, though.

And in the last third of the programme, the audience were clapping along to the music!

I said it yesterday, and I will say it again today. This audience is definitely team Sara and Kirill. The amount of cheering and applauding there was throughout the programme.

MASSIVE CHEERS when they finished. The arena is erupting!!!

And this is for the "second" partnership in the team. I can't imagine what it is going to be like when my kids come out next!

Well, I think these two have just cemented their place on the podium.

Ach, Asaf nearly fell during the Twizzles in the second half. Too close to the boards. But the audience gave encouragement.

But, otherwise, I didn't spot any issues.

You know, although the audience was showing a lot of support, it wasn't as much as their team-mates before them got. But, that is probably because Sofía and Asaf's music was more subdued, and didn't really allow for audience participation like Philomene and Raul's did.

They go into the lead of both FD and overall.

Ah, I forgot Olivia Sophie SMART / Tim DIECK (CAT) from FC Barcelona were doing a "Dune" programme.

Sorry, but none of the "Dune" programes I have seen so far this season have done anything for me. And this was no exception.

A couple of days ago, I listened to some of the music from the original 1980's adaptation of "Dune". And it made me sad thinking of what we could have had if the skaters doing "Dune" programmes were using that music rather than the music they are using.

Well, they win both the FD and overall.

And I am going for my Sunday dinner.
