I realized on the bus home that the only reason BC didn't sweep Senior Women was that Kara changed to Ontario. Ted missed out in not coming to Winnipeg. Hopefully Amy can have a good Nationals and get an assignment, she had 4CC and lost it with the switch to CTES.

Also Parker would make a great cheerleader if he gets a JGP assignment.

David Howes jr men FS

This is the video I took of David Howes free skate. I figured the daily motion wouldn’t work so I made sure I got it for his mom. She’s been showing her ppl haha.

He has improved SO MICH in the last year.. it’s a mega big difference. His skating is gorgeous. Had over 70 for PCS

His free skate was gorgeous. I'm putting it on my Season's Best list for sure, it's one of my favourite men's free programs that I've seen so far this season. I said it earlier in the thread, but there are a lot of senior men who wish they had that kind of movement quality and performance ability, his mom should be showing all of the people . Challenge this year was definitely a showcase of a lot of the young talent rising up in the Canadian ranks, and I certainly feel far more optimistic about the Canadian skating rebound now.

Yeah I agree..the juniors FINALLYshowed a bright light in all of the chaos we have seen in singles this year. Yes agree aswell.. senior men wishing they can move and emote like that. Sooo good.

I did some checking on some of the archives, I think they're fixing up some of the ones that haven't been entirely replaced. I checked the Junior Women Short and was actually able to see all of Lia's jumping passes this time. The sound had some static though. I'll check out the others tomorrow.

So with Challenge done, do we have an unofficial list of the Nationals competitors or do we have to wait for an official list (none officially posted on entries)? I'd like to start mapping out my rewatch chart if possible for one of the last national championships.

I can post what I've worked out for the start orders based on the rules since the Juniors should now be determined by Challenge finish as well. There's a few question marks I have for some of the competitors where I don't know their status.

In categories where Challenge is optional (no cut-off), skaters who do not have a bye and did not compete there will skate before the skaters who competed at Challenge or have a bye.
