The Men completely broke my heart and my brain and I just could not bear any more disappointment right now

OMG!! So many juniors in this group.

I’m kinda rooting for Ikura to skate well, to solidify her spot to Junior Worlds.

Also, Mayuko is an under rated skater who should have been at JGP this season instead of Riria. Will she go for 3A today?

Yuna!!! So happy she continued. What a world of difference compared to the last time she skated at Nationals her quality is really still there and never went away.

Mayuko is another skater I slept through during the SP (time difference fail) so this is my first time seeing her. She has great snap in her jumps and I was not expecting that 3A! Her technique is sort of reminiscent of the Kim twins' 3As (which scare me...).

I have no idea how she managed to get two 2As out of that landing. Respect.

I love Oka’s…I’m gonna call it a “knee slide layback” in the choreo. That’s unique. That was good skate. She’ll get the 3A next time. If I recall, she landed it at junior nationals.

I have to give kudos to her for going for the 3A
She seems to have a mastery of the basic triples. So, why not go for it!!
This is why I give Hamada credit, as her athletes are always pushing themselves.
Also, even though Oka screwed up the 3A, you can replace a 2T with the 2A sequence to make up some of those lost points.

Those 2A's on the end of that spin out... Just wow! That thing she does on her knees during the choreo is definitely interesting (I don't know what to call it) and honestly, I like it a lot. Good program Mayuko!

One thing I have to comment, is her triples are smaller than Oka’s
