Shoma Uno

More Shoma commentary, but only before the Men FS and not for the top FS skaters:

His commentary (when it can be listened to) seems to be very needed for a rough day like the Men's FS. Have seen fans of other skaters appreciating Shoma's kind words for the skaters on X. I think he can be a bit louder with his voice, but I also think the calm gentle tone fit this particular competition better unfortunately 😭

Shoma also did an interview with Yuma after Yuma won, so hopefully there are footage!

I’d love to hear his thoughts on Yuma and Rio when they both fell back on the ice at the end like Shoma did.

^^^That was quite a first commentary gig for Sho! With all those rough skates, I might have run out of comments to make! Knowing him, he handled it like a pro, but WOW! And some scary, hard falls too...I have to watch bits and pieces again. I stayed up until 5 am watching but was getting a little.woozy by the end! :bed: :dbana:

my thoughts exactly! hopefully he doesn't get scared away from commentating because of this one crazy competition, lol

Shoma sending a supportive message for the Japanese skaters ahead of the JNats Gala (Medalist on Ice) tomorrow.

Apparently he said "experience what it's like to feel the pressure of securing spots for olympic qualification" .... honest words from someone who helped Japan kept 3 senior Worlds / Olympics spots throughout his senior career 🤣

Also the K&C magazine photo is posted by the photographer:

Hey does anyone know what happened to Feimchen on Instagram? (I hope I spelled her name right). She posted the most Shoma content I ever saw and now it seems she is gone.

I have asked several people if they knew what happened, and no one seems to know.

He is definitely the voice of experience, and I know he had a great sense of pride for Team Japan and took his responsibilities very seriously. I have to believe while he was sitting there taking in all the skating that he didn't miss the pressure of it at all!

Hi! Shoma is one of my two forever favorites in the men’s discipline, and I owe him a lot because he (along with Ilia) got me into watching men’s skating. Before the last Olympics, I was just watching ice dance. Shoma’s otherworldly skating caught my attention through his Olympics and Worlds 2022 performances, and I remember saying “he could do ice dance” which I meant as a huge compliment because the beauty and grace of his skating stood out to me and reminded me of my favorite ice dancers. So before I knew it I was a fan, and I watched all of Shoma’s competitions from then on. I’ve been visiting this fanfest for a while, and I want to thank everyone for making it a special place that brightens up my day whenever I visit.

Hello <3 I'm happy that our posts about Shoma here can brighten up your day, even just a little. Post often and long!

@Silevril Ilumire Welcome to the World of Shomajesty. I see you joined on a very special day -- Dec. 17! LOL. Many people have wanted to claim Sho for ice dancing, including ice dance Coach Carol Lane, if I remember correctly. Glad you're joining us on our journey to see what he will bring next to the skating world!
