There are several reports online that several skaters and coaches from the USFS High Performance Development Camp were on board. From my understanding, most of the other skaters already left Wichita, but there were some still there.

As of right now, there aren't any names, and I obviously don't want to randomly speculate, especially as many of the skaters are children.

I am going to sleep soon, but I will update this thread with any confirmed reports in the morning.

I truly hope everyone is safe.

Skaters who I have seen updates from who are ok (I don’t know exactly who may have been at the camp so I’ve just been looking for skaters who were at nationals)

Sophie Jolene
Patrick Blackwell
Jessi Jurka
Josephine Lee
Jiaying Johnson

More skaters who were NOT on the plane:
Luke Wang
Emily Chan
Alisa Efimova & Misha Mitrofanov
Jon Maravilla
Kaitlin Hawayek
Edit:
Ellie Kam (I checked because Luke Wang mentioned team mates)

Jon Maravilla (Jr Pairs skater) is ok too. Seems like he was supposed to be on this plane but was denied boarding for some reason, which I'm sure he's very grateful for now.

This is horrible, please let us know if anyone hears of others who are safe. I understand that, because there are young people involved, care has to be taken with information.

I heard on social media that Jon Maravilla was going to be on that flight, but he was turned away at the gate.
He and his parents are probably thankful, if very worried for others.

Praying that a miracle happens and survivors are found yet  My heart goes out to the families and friends of those who were on that flight.
Hopefully the cause of the accident is found soon. The anti-collision system has saved many lives, even this very year, but I'm perplexed as to why it failed in this case. :(

Because of Luke Wang’s comment, I looked up other skaters from his school. Luke trains with M&M pairs in Colorado Springs, so I don’t know why training mates would be traveling to D.C. except for personal reasons. So I’m not sure what Luke meant by “his team”. But Ellie Kam is okay.

Not that this is the only reason for this crash (as an army helicopter is involved), but last season the US Senate voted in favour of a bill that allowed more planes to fly to and from DCA daily. At the time, two of the 4 (!) senators who voted against the bill jointly released a statement condemning the Senate for "abdicate[ing] its responsibility to protect the safety of the 25 million people [who annually fly through Reagan airport]".
