Here come fragments of another interview highlighting information that many could have missed in the abundance of news and interviews. Yuzu revealed that the combined fragment consisting of the spoken poem in Japanese (he revealed elsewhere that he did not just record it but actually wrote it himself) / Eclipse Blue / Steiner's Gate, one of most loved pieces of the show, is improvised by him and that's why it is different each time. These are not adjustments made to some pre-defined choreo but improvisations on the spot in line with the feeling of the moment. Wow, I must say this is amazing especially if you think how elaborate and deeply moving these programs are!
One more reason to watch each show as each one is different!

At first I considered the brain, the vision... We already knew that Yuzuru Hanyu had this exceptional ability to rethink a program while skating it, and we now all know that he's an artistic genius.
But then, these two (exceptional, and all the more exceptional because they're combined in one person) would result in something rather tame and perhaps frustrating even for the skater, should he not have a mastery of his skates (steps, moves, balance...) so many light-years above any other skater, to be able to command them in an instant, not in a long trained succession of moves! Because these are really complex moves.
In France, we have an artistic genius (by no means a G.O.A.T.) who has wonderful improvisations, I post it because I have the impression that Yuzuru Hanyu likes organ, and because of course, he had had this improvisation for the sole sake of celebrating the 30th birthday, and the first Ice Show with an improvisation, of a skater who had so beautifully skated to Notre-Dame-de-Paris:

So it seems that the Echoes of Life event at the Metaverse was fun and crowdy. Yuzuru was there too and added to the overwhelming happy chaos and confusion by chatting on his YouTube member zone simultaneously as a side activity and turning it into a side event to the Metaverse
Less experienced participants had problems catching up while trying to find their way around hopping between rooms, or to the contrary, sitting in one place for the fear of getting lost completely but were over the moon anyway

So that was an official farewell party to the heavenly tour ...
... or not really?....
Looking back to Re_Pray Miyagi with hope...

TV Asahi's board director crediting the multi-angle video for Yuzu's Ice Stories as one of the success factor for TELASA.

At Yuzuru Hanyu's ice event, there is a rare multi-angle video that can only be seen on TELASA, and by exclusively distributing this, we continue to do very well. Yuzu apparently said there would be no additional shows this year as there were no venues big enough to host Echoes that could be booked.
He also said he always knew Nova would stop and look back to the rink over his shoulder before making his last step off at the end of the very last show
So it seems that's it and now we really need to wait hoping for DVD/BlueRay to come soon enough although I would expect Re_Pray to come out earlier. Or maybe the dates for these two will be announced together like they were for Prologue and GIFT last year!
In the meantime, Telasa it is, if you have access - and the book which you can always fall back on, too, when you're missing Nova too badly!

Here comes a very interesting review analysing specifically the Echoes costumes with a look back to Yuzuru costume style evolving over the years, and a look deep into the Echoes costume design connection to traditional Noh and nogaku Japanese theatre genres (nogaku is a joint reference to Noh and kyogen style plays performed together as one show). For example, the Utai IV costume, its aesthetics and its poses, are claimed by the author to be deeply rooted in the traditional Noh theatre with the striking last Yuzuru's pose being a traditional pose of Noh!
Very interesting analysis! Especially when we think Yuzuru is just about to show this weekend at Notte Stellata a collaboration with Nomura-san who is a master of kyogen which together with Noh form the nogaku theatre! Would Yuzu then impersonate the Noh part of the duo?

The review's final conclusion:
"The reason why Hanyu's songs from the games are so well received by many fans may be because he is a fan of the original work, or because he has a strong charisma that weaves an irresistible web of delusions and entangles the audience.
Maybe it's simply because he's a genius.

So it seems that the article above is the 4th episode in a series! Here comes the first one - notes and remarks on the Echoes of Life plot.
Here's an extract I found the most striking:
"The word "I" is used repeatedly as the story progresses. The word "hate" is also impressive. It seems to be a question about living in a world full of wars and conflicts, and a lament for the absurdity of hatred directed at "I," an individual who is just living hard and has done no harm to anyone.
"ECHOES OF LIFE" is a fictional story, but it is Yuzuru Hanyu's overwhelming presence that is at the core of the sci-fi fantasy story and makes it so convincing. But there is no longer a boy here who was once subjected to gratuitous hatred and frightened by hate. The hero defeats the pathetic haters left behind in the world by the "sound of justice" and wins.
Hate is sometimes the flip side of love and attachment.
Slander is a serenade offered by cowards to a winner who shines so brightly that they can't look at it directly.
The lotus flower that colors the Pure Land of Paradise blooms nourishingly even in the mud at the bottom of the swamp."

According to Tokyo Sports, the Echoes of Life event at the Metaverse was attended by 130,000 people within 3 days. That's a huge crowd!
They call Yuzuru "highly influential"and no wonder why.
