2025 World Championships Pairs Short Program

3T
3LoTh (fall)
4Li4
FCCoSp4 (bit off-sync in the tuck sit)
BoDs3
StSq4

SP: 63.28 (3rd) Q

Lia and Trennt had such confidence throughout the six-minute warmup and before they got on the ice, and I think this program really helps channel that energy into competition. It's also a nice change from what the other pairs do, both choreographically and musically. I love the musicality of the connecting steps into the twist and the spread eagles into the 3Ts - this is a really standout program from the rest of the field. That loop fall was such a shame, because they were certainly gunning for a PB had they landed that. Everything else was so strong

Great 3twist and fun jazzy energy from Lia and Trennt. Too bad about the fall on the throw 3 loop.

15. Annika HOCKE / Robert KUNKEL 🇩🇪
SP: "I Love Rock n Roll" by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts; "Black Betty" by Ram Jam, choreo by Anna Cappellini, Luca Lanotte

3Tw2 (little tight on the catch)
2S (Annika doubles, Robert falls)
3LoTh (forward, hands down)
4Li4
BoDs2
StSq4
CCoSp4 (out of sync when they head up into the camel position)

SP: 55.16 (12th) Q

Annika and Robert are always so much fun, and I feel like they tried to reach for another level of performance with this crowd. Unfortunately, this was a really rough skate for them - they tried to keep the performance going but those were some really costly mistakes. :(

Annika doubled her salchow while Robert fell, this is gonna hurt their score. I liked the presentation and the triple twist.

Annika and Robert SP is Very europop, energetic, some errors was because the rhythm is very constant and can't get a balance of transition for regulate speed, is like a drive a Porsche but in street with speed limit and curves for long time.

Hocke/Kunkel only 12th now, no wonder why they're disappointed given how high they finished at Worlds last year.
