very probably, I am confused - my brain is addled after nearly 7 hours of continuous skating viewing!

Probably be that way for the Northern US, too. I was in Ireland a few years back in July. I took a photo on my way back to the hotel from the bus, and looking at it later I realized it was broad daylight at nearly 10 pm (22:00).
