Does anyone the official link to ice dance RD music for 2025-2026?

Many people discussed about hip pop and club music 90s but where is the official announcement?

If it is 90's music, I have a few things I want to say:

1. Please can someone skate to Hanson ("Look at You" and "Madeline" would work well).
2. I would love to see a mix of "Tonight" and "Step By Step" by New Kids on the Block.
3. If someone skates to "Smells Like Teen Spirit," can they PLEASE skate to the original Nirvana version and not mellow covers?

YOU APOLOGISE TO TORI AMOS RIGHT NOW!

It's 90s music confirmed by ISU technical meeting.

For juniors quickstep immediately followed rhumba with appropriate changes to timing etc.

For senior, PSt with different rules to last year, and specific defined entry and exit movements

Please, please, PLEASE let's stay away from all Britney, BSB girl and boy bands, just pleeeeeease.

I will suffer through Brit Rock, Alternative, Grunge, hip hop, but please no late 90s pop schlock.

Also, I dare someone to skate to Scooter.

Okay, Hanson's "Middle of Nowhere" album has some songs that would work well (Not "MMMBop." Good song, but I don't think it'll fit). They ain't a boyband.

I will say that "Backstreet's Back" has some good rhythm for ice dance IMO.

The 1990s also included some very popular Broadway musicals, including Rent, Miss Saigon and Phantom. But maybe it needs to be pop/rock/etc.

Juniors - a bit random, but it could be interesting to see how well they deal with it technically and choreographically. I'd guess not many of the current juniors are likely to have much experience with these two patterns under competitive conditions. They're among my favourite dances, so as long as the steps are on time I don't think I'll be too bothered by the music.

Seniors - same old new thing...

They've had to "remake" the rhumba timing to work with quickstep, as the music speed is 120BPM, so they had to slow parts down to make it possible to skate and fit together with the variation of speeds in the two dances.

Seniors is strange as no element of the junior dances. Pst finishes with helicopter three turns, and starts with walkabout three turns. No element of the rhumba whatsoever...

Is that who sung the mellow version?

It's that if we want true 90's nostalgia, Nirvana version rules.

I listened to the version. It's good, but if we're thinking about 90's...Nirvanaaaa
her cover is not right for the rd, I agree. However it is nineties, and really is imo the best of those sort of romantic covers of hard rock songs and also probably the first. I.e. to blame for all that followed. Plus she kind of gets Nirvana's vibe, in that it sounds kind of sardonic/sarcastic.

I feel the lithuanians will be looking in Kurt's direction
