Boot recommendations for pre-teen with growing feet?

Hello Goldskate Community,

I am posting looking for assistance with an impending upgrade for my daughters skates.

She is about 4ft4- 65lbs at 11.5 years old. We live near Toronto Ontario.

She just completed her first full year of skating. We wrapped up Canskate between April - July 2024 and my daughter has successfully completed star3 testing and is working on her baby blues dance; she has landed all singles up to her Single Axel (its not perfect but its been landed a few times).

She is working on double salchow and her flying sit and flying camel spins right now. She is also on a synchro skating team as well.

She is currently in a size 3W Jackson FS2021 Youth Evo with Mark IV blade.

They have seemed to do well. Looking at that shes a wide and what she is working on and that she has been the same size since August i suspect a new pair will be needed in the coming months.

Im not experienced in skating and wonder two things- 1) are the skates sufficient for what she is working on or does the doubles itself warrant an upgrade 2) would you wait till foot growth to upgrade?

We have 5weeks of skating booked between Jun 23-July30 & currently she is skating 3 days a week - down from our usual 10 hrs as our reg season ended. Between May 11-June 17 we may do 3 -5 hrs a week. We are taking a month break for the month in August - for an idea of needs with skates in the near future.

Hi and welcome! She needs to switch boots and upgrade to a stiffer boot ASAP. She probably should have been in a stiffer boot by now, but it is what it is. Could you provide us with some more information so we can provide a more educated answer for you.

You said she is a wide? Is that right?
Also, what is her arches like: Very high/high/regular/low/flat? And what is her foot type? Once you provide that, we can help.
