Good info to have! I know of several adults that try to contact minors through instagram, etc...even if they claim they "know" them. Creepy.

I don't contact skaters accounts on social media
I have issues making vmy own is my own and if I contact my own family it us them.
We had people using our fb claim to be family when wasn't.

it didnt help when my niece allowed someone else to use her fb page.
some claim my mom's. She doesnt have any.
they have access to ours due to me setting it up for her and someone else taking over.
Like paypal that I don't have.

That's the trouble with guidelines and rules formulated by well-meaning oversight organizations. It still comes down to ever-diligent care by parents and, unfortunately, by inexperienced and trusting children as well.

I think is the basic also common sense because isn't proper contact to a skater who is minor.
