Wow!! Victoria landed those jumps like a PRO. The backloaded 3Lz 3T was spectacular and the 3Lo came out of nowhere.
Artistically, I think her skating skills aren’t as good as when she competed in Russia. She stumbled and wasn’t as fast as I expected.
However, it is nice to have a reliable skater to depend on.

Her jumps are just so big (even though I'm not sure the combo was fully rotated, the take-off was a bit squirrely)
The program is nice, but not groundbreaking, very in her wheelhouse. Will be interesting to see how it develops as the season progresses.

Pretty program for Ksenia (would love to see her do a full ballet-style program - she's a very good dancer from what I can see on her IG account). She uses her arms a lot to jump - Has she always done that? I feel like it's throwing off her axis more than it's helping.

I’m 99% certain, Victoria will pass her after the free skate though

i think the issue were calls on the combo... but still a bit surprising considering Reese made mistakes too on the loop and one spin. i guess the botched step was one too many mistakes for VickyBReese does skate faster with better skating skills.

True. That was a great fit for her. I cannot help but think Black Swan for her - Though that is also very overused, oops.
