Solid debut for this new team. The double throw looked a tad wild, but the other pairs elements were good. I like the program, never against something flamenco-esque.

I have a feeling we will see a lot of wild throws for a while... not many teams have trained very much the required toe pick throws i suspect... and we may see more doubles than usually too

Love the arm variation on the 2Lo landing. Wild throw here too, and some other messy moments, but a well-choreographed program. Ava is just so tiny

Novice silver medalists, they made their international Junior debut in the spring

i have to admit that i am going to have issues with this group of skaters.... i am already a crazy Marly , Jazzy and Kiki and Ava and Yoni fan... so much that i cannot tell which ones i like best.... and now Julia and Étienne are starting their journey and I liked Ava and Stephen too... and I am excited for Beau's return with Vlad...

That was good! They landed everything, not perfectly, but everything ended with both of them on their feet. Also, I love rompers & unitards in skating, so I really appreciate Jazmine's outfit (though it might be a top+shorts combo?). Side note, they just both are very pretty.

I thank life for having air conditioning.... we have had many days in the 35-40 degrees range (with the humidex factor) and it's been unbearable .... even very early in the morning... but my place is chill

Lots of heat here, but not so humid. Also, it cools off at night; we are in a townhouse, so we can get decent cooling action at night. Sometimes I wake up early and open the balcony door to continue the cooling action. We do have A/C; we don't use it often, but when we need it we NEED IT!

yeah the humidity is hell... sometimes in the morning, i open the patio door and then... ouch... it's already too heavy for life

I think this is their program from last season, at least I remember these costumes. They are newly out of novices, so I'm trying not to be too hard on them, but I'm worried about their death spirals, they've consistently been having issues on that element. Everything else is a matter of him getting a bit beefier and them just generally getting more used to the elements, but the death spiral worries me.

1) I hate Stromae and it should be banned from figure skating
2) wild throw count 5/5 but glad they are going for the triple lutz
3) marly do not look ready at all for this event. I hope Skate Canada sends them to the last two JGPs.
We are seeing world medalists here struggling... so it's just a question of time with training...
