I was about to say "I'm glad we'll see these two men early" but barring some fancam coverage, we might not. I'm not even sure there's a pay stream. I'll have to go check that out.

We will have to trust @Jeanie19 's reports from the venue. I don't expect anything else than fancam... if they even allow that at the rink...

She only has a Russian passport. RusFed said they wouldn't allow transfers without citizenship or one year residency in their new country, which Victoria has (or else she couldn't compete for Canada internationally yet anyway).
They also said 'real citizen's passport' making a distinction between a passport and a passport with residence. However, even without Canadian citizenship, as an LI (which I assume Victoria is), she should be able to travel internationally. But RusFed's discerning tastes in the flavors of citizenship is dicier than international travel.

I am pretty sure she is fine to compete for Canada. I don't see why she would have been invited to Next Gen if she weren't able .... remember the first year Uliana competed, it was just very small events.. not those linked to National qualification or a national team like Next Gen. So I keep my hopes alive that she will compete later in the season on the JGP. In any case, we will find out in a few weeks.

She can definitely travel internationally, and probably wouldn't even be denied a visa in any of the European countries, but sending her to UAE would be really easy because she doesn't need a visa, and the others, who are Canadian citizens, wouldn't need a visa for European countries. Saves a little bit of money and bureaucracy.

Just noticed that Chaima Ben Khelifa is on the LPIDC entry list under solo dance, so I assume she's partnerless again. :(

I noticed the same... I also noticed that Emmy Bronsard wasn't listed... so it could mean that she wasn't interested/ready to participate but it could also mean that she has a new partner... or that she's done...
Of course, we cannot read into the entry list that much at the beginning of the season but in solo dance, with the very few available competitions not far away, I was assuming she would be competing there...

Sad there are no Can Women entries for Cranberry. Especially since we had so many women getting their mins last year and doing quite well. Hope Skate Canada is not taking a step backwards from sending our skaters out as often as they can. This is a good year to send out as many skaters as possible. Those making the Olympic Team will not be going to 4CC so we need our other skaters in all disciplines seen as much as possible.

They haven't updated the international assignments page yet for the season, so it's hard to say based on only Cranberry Cup. It doesn't show which Challengers they're planning on entering yet.

Priority in the early Challengers will be for the skaters with GP assignments. The later ones do have good opportunities for medals and WS points. I'm hoping they continue to use those.

They're off the Patinage Quebec development teams, I think the assumption is right :(
I was trying to find Emmy anywhere in those teams and i cannot see her.. but then, did they ever put skaters who do solo dance in there ? I mean she's just 21 years old... I wish so much to see her competing again with the right partner.

I don't think they include solo dance yet, this is only the second season of it being a discipline in Canada for Podium Pathway.

I guess i am slightly worried... She was doing sport-études at Collège Brébeuf but at that age, she may be heading to university... so it may be the end... i don't know... i am just in a weird mood...

Does anybody have information on Kaiya Ruiter? No domestic competition yet that I am aware of. I have been looking forward to seeing her this year. I don't normally do Instagram but I see she did post about her new free on June 24. Fingers crossed we see her soon.

Kaiya is now entered in Skate Ontario August - https://skateontario.org/results/26AUGKW/26AUGKWSeniorWomenEL.pdf

They added Gabrielle Daleman too.

Edit - but Katherine Medland Spence isn't entered now.
