Best Liam skate since he came up from Jrs despite the three pops. But it was a big snooze. I didn't mind they they cut away for the ad.

Very pleasant for Liam. I forgot how nice the soundtrack is for skating. He is smooth, but I'd like to see the transitions with a bit more power to gain some more points. Also the spins needs more power and control. Overall as Mr Button used to say - it was a good wine but not a great wine

This is getting interesting now with another US man breaking 200 points.

You know for as much as Thom Yorke apparently doesn't like Creep (and as much as his voice gets in the way of me enjoying some later Radiohead) every time I hear it covered I find myself newly appreciating how much the song needs his exact, unassuming vocal delivery. It totally undercuts the song to have a singer vamping and wailing dramatically, and turns it from something sincere into melodramatic self-pity.

Creep is in a way like Send In The Clowns, you need that soft, unexaggerated sadness delivered with control and restraint for the song to be good, and a performance to those songs should also follow suit. Sadly so many covers and thus so many programs do not, at this rate we'll have to be happy with getting someone who can actually sing
