Well, even with Jimmy flopping, the Free Skate overall was better than I expected. And my predictions actually don't look so bad. Could have been better, but I was expecting much worse after the Short.

It's okay, we are each entitled to our opinions. I think the expectations got to him. Jimmy has never really had to be in this position. He will learn from this and the program will grow.

So I'm thrilled with the podium, but I am also scared that both Roman and Sasha Selevko wasted that skate in friggin August and it won't happen at the right time... But two of my fave cacti on the podium and my boy Jaekeun managing a top 10 at his first international senior competition, I can go back to my manuscript with some happiness. See you folks the next time I decide I want to torture myself

Just stopping in to say that whoever picks Sanchez’ music consistently does him a disservice. Dune, here, is so last season, a year too late. His short wasn’t any better, and last season’s choices also didn’t flatter this charming young lad.
