Caroline Zhang and others might do the Biellmann spin better than Biellmann herself did it, but who is the skill named after?
Aww, I love that they have Yukina Ota's picture up for this article. That's a very pretty position she has there and beautiful toe point!More info on camel spin variations: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camel_spin

In Yu-Na's case, it is amply clear she wasn't the one who did the lay-over camel first, as others have pointed out other high-profile skaters who were doing the skill before her.

I think Mao prerotates too much on all of her jumps, especially her 3A.
I wonder that could be called "triple" axel:scratch:
So, you mean that the lay-over camel has no name after a skater yet? Then, what would be the matter if figure skating fans themselves started calling it Yuna spin? Or, you personally don't like Yuna to have her name on a skill?

:disagree::sheesh::scowl::banging:
How did a practice session about Mao turning into a Yu-na/Mao fight??

What's Mao's underrotation and prerotation got to do with Yu-Na?
Unlike someone, Yu-Na doesn't have to worry about underrotation or prerotation![]()

Does anybody have any other practice reports on the other skaters?
