Well done, Haruna! She looks spent! I like that they used that Irish music part. She had to fight for some jumps but she did it. I'm not a fan of repeating the same combo, but strategically it works for her.

That’s definitely one of her better skates, but she lost a lot of steam throughout the skate. She was very cautious, too. I think she did enough to keep her second JGP.

A lovely skate by Haruna, who has given it so much. Pretty princessy dress, ah, for Titanic. Positive GOE for everything, hits her levels on her spins. She is a touch too soft in her movements for the reel, but floats across the ice to the more wistful melody afterwards. Into second, which she looks happy with. Well done to her.

Oh, she WAS the skater that did the layback knee slide that I remember from last year. I really like the program, just the fall on the 3A.

Mayuko. Pretty dress. Great program. Shame about the fall on 3A. Still a really good skate. Great debut.

Mayuko delivers a fantastic skate, with really high quality elements. Attempts a 3A, but underrotates and falls; the only way to get one done in competition is to take the risk, though. Massive GOE on her solo 3Lo. I like the head roll she does between the flip + axel sequence and the solo 3Lz, as well as the forward glide with her free leg bent and foot on her knee. Huge tech score before review.

3A was always going to be a gamble for Mayuko since it's not consistent in competition just yet
However, as usual she doesn't let the fall affect the rest of her jumps
