I have a friend who lives in Iceland, and I'm pretty sure she said figure skating is (ironically) not popular there...

I think that Icelandic athletes have medaled at Summer Olympics (handball for sure, maybe other sports) but never at the Winter Olympics.
I don't know if Icelandic figure skaters have ever qualified for the Games

They were good. But, still not as good as Tae-Ok and Ju-Sik were. Boys, but I miss that partnership.

I would love it for them to qualify, but I can't see it happening.

Unfortunately, it is impossible for the North Koreans.

And unfortunately, with only 3 (or 4) slots available, it will also be difficult for both of my sets of kids. Both probably would have got through if it had been 5 slots like I thought, but alas.

Well done Armenia I really enjoyed that performance. Very strong skate. I hope it scores well. I’ve always enjoyed Artsakh as a piece of music. That’s a lower score than I expected.

I liked the North Koreans, tech was a little off.

Yay, Karina and Nikita Karina recently shared in an interview that her back injury is chronic in nature, but that consistent physiotherapy and stretching has really helped limit the pain. She also shared that she started having panic attacks after she injured her back
