2025 Skate to Milano Pairs Short Program

I was impressed during Kinoshita Trophy and I'm still impressed that their new triple twist is that good

Oh no... that'stough for them. And for me  However, thei did some great stuff with lift, steps and spin and their components still should be good so I hope they will be fine.

Yuna NAGAOKA / Sumitada MORIGUCHI (JPN)

5RLi4 Great

Score: 62.68

The pressure got to them a bit, but they've improved a lot, especially since going to Savin. They'll still be in the mix, they just have to keep it together in the Free. 🙏

@norwegianfairytale I know it's off-topic but I just have to know: does Milla have Swedish citizenship? I need her to have Swedish citizenship
As far as I know, she doesn´t, but they havn´t spoken about it since Europeans or Worlds I think, were they were working on it but didn´t have a timeline 👀 But they started the process around early 24 with moving to Sweden, Milla is paying taxes there and all and I guess language test isn´t going to be a issue for her. So I think she has a chance to get it in time, but I honestly don´t know anything about the process and if Swedish Fed can speed it up. The weird thing about it all is that they made some newspaper interviews early in June about them going to this Qualifier and hoping to go to Milano - but there was nothing about the citizenship issue in the article.

Speaking of blitzing practice, last week during archery practice for the 30m I shot an arrow at a new target and hit the EXACT centre.

Could I do this during the actual competition? Nope 😅

Don't Japan have 3 spots for pairs anyway?

And wait Sui and Han? Are they back?

Am I the only one who, when Yuna fell, immediately thought that it was punishment for her wearing that dress?

In all seriousness, I feel so sorry for them. Because they should be in contention to go through. But, the mistakes will be costly.

They put on smiles when the camera came to the results area. But, they were disappointed.

Yuna's face dropped even further when the scores were announced. It looked like she was about to burst into tears. The coach beside her realised how upset she was, and immediately put his arm around her and consoled her.

:ghug:

They go into 4th position.

Also, I know this is pairs. But if the standings hold up and Josefin does well enough in the women's event...does Sweden have the potential to make the team event?

I am praying that it means she's going to get citizenship in time, if the RD placements hold and it turns out she didn't get it in time I will lose it... thanks for the detailed explanation 🥰

Do they have a man qualified? And a pairs team that is fit to go? The Crafoords were supposed to be here but WD, so what's up with them?
