He doesn’t represent Mexico anymore???Donovan is on the entry list for Skate Ontario July (representing Ontario). The short and free programs are separate, he is entered for both.
The competition will not be streamed though.
He does, it's more how most of the Canadian competitions default to the Canadian club for international skaters.

Looks like Donovan got a 78.59 for the short today.

This looks pretty good, particularly for a "first pancake"! Congratulation! I'm now hoping frequent 80+ scores at the Short Program!

LOL, nah, it was a decent first pancake, but i wish i had a cleaner way to share the results.
The layout is very Zayak pron with the Sals, yes. I am sure the lone 2S was a planned 4S, but it is still dangerous because if he drops it to a 3S, he still Zayak's the latter planned 3S. Here, he only lost a 2A to Zayak, but still sucks.
I want to see a video, I suspect he will be great. Hoping for high energy songs vs ballads!

I usually don't get this deep into the weeds, but J3 must be on a different planet. 5.5 for presentation? Donovan? I can say sight unseen, huh?
Also, I must confess I am not a fan of Elvis programs. At all. But if anyone can sell it, it will be Donovan.

5.5-8.5 is quite the span of opinions.... maybe Elvis is divisive lol. I want to see it!

Donovan is at about -21 minutes in while this stays up.
Hip Hip Chin Chin, 70.65 in sixth after the SP.
Also of note, his PCS here was 35.32 with a less than great skate, his PB is 37.41. So still a skate to be proud of.

That should got to the correct time, but he is first of the last group, about 2 hours in.
6th overall (4th in the free) 208.51
No deductions this time! Going in the right direction for sure.
The program is what i might call light Elvis, it is not over the top or campy.
Edit: Stick around for the post skate.... it seems that they did not have sweepers here as the announcer has to make him go get more stuffties before going into the kiss and cry!
