Gabriella IZZO / Luc MAIERHOFER AUT - love the black costumes with the hot pink trimming. Very nice and different. Smaller twist for them but cleanly done. Gorgeous throw to Padam. they are also developing very nicely. Both have polished lines in their spins, just a bit off-time. Enjoying the progress..

Anni fell on the 3S Everything else was good, the other teams were just also quite good today.

When I re-joined, partnership #14 Letizia ROSCHER / Luis SCHUSTER (DEU) were coming off the ice. So, I missed 3 partnerships.

Annika HOCKE / Robert KUNKEL GER in black bodysuits, hers with gold trim on a nude top skating to Lady Gaga. She slips off the landings of the sbs 3T. Excellent high throw 3LZ. One of the speedier and solid death spirals. They need a bit more flow between their elements - a bit of pausing before moving on to the next element. Very nice high 3TW. Very encouraging skate for them - nice to see. Marks are lower than I thought they would be.

Irma CALDARA / Riccardo MAGLIO ITA start in character. They move so nicely and are very mindful of their story. Lots of charisma from this team. Mistakes on her solo 3sal and slips out of the throw but showing the hallmark steadiness of the other elements that all the Italian teams have. Great twist. Charming skate but they are disappointed by the early mistakes.

Getting it done Oxana & Tom. Eye popping twist and solid throws. Lots of difficulty capably handled. I foresee surprisingly good scores... She gives me Radionova vibes.

My predictions are doing nicely except for Lia & Trennt.
They are so talented and that flawed skate just tanked them.

With regards Lia and Trent. The music is so dull for Olympic year. Sing sing sing better. Too bad about the lift. It’s always something with them though. Not sure what they need to do. Is it mental/nerves?

I haven't scrolled through this thread because I don't want to see spoilers in case there is a chance to watch the pairs unspoiled... I wasn't able to watch the live free stream, unfortunately, but figured there would be videos posted later. While I can find some men and women, I see no pairs! So disappointed -- this field is stacked!!

yes, they used the same SP last year. That's a big advantage to them in the early comps, compared to the other pairs.

With that score in SP, Danilova/Tsiba could already meet Dutch fed's requirements for Olympics given a decent FS

Nebelhorn doesn't count for this...I don't know exactly which events will, but they are predetermined.

I really enjoyed the Cloak and Dagger program, besides the fall of course the Swiss team and their twists are amazing to watch, I think they're going to go far.
Fun fact about Hocke/Kunkel and their costumes...I knew they looked familiar and I was right...they were wearing B/G's Golden Hour gala costumes
