Jason Brown

Beautiful. Just beautiful. I have no words.

Why we watch Jason😍
I'm very pleased with these skates so early in the season. Light years ahead of last year's GPs for sure! He has almost 2 months after Tibilisi to train those programs and tweak what needs to be tweaked. If I'm not mistaken, he's got the second highest US Men's score in this preseason so far? I watched the medal ceremony afterward and noted that the Referee, who is from Korea, shook Jason's hand and spoke to him as usual, but also patted his hand before she moved on to Misha. I take that as a positive. I wish I could find an extended protocols scoring result that doesn't give a security warning message! Anyway, this was a really good start to Jason's season and I'm looking forward to seeing where his programs go!

Totally agree.

Skatingscores.com is a great site to check extended protocols and skater rankings / comparisons.

Yes, Jason has the highest US Men's score so far after Ilia at Lombardia. He looks so well trained and ready for the season. I'm sure that he doesn't want there to be any doubts or questions that he should be named to the Olympic team.

I found that site to see who the judges were, but didn't find the extended protocols. I just went back and found them. Thanks for that. Love seeing what judges score on each element. The US judge was definitely pro Jason, but not biased. The US judge gave Jason a 9 for components, but two other judges gave him 9.25. It's interesting. I can't complain about the podium finish. Nika skated his FS well. I will bookmark that site for the future.

He's very focused on Milan. Even the choice to do these two comps are viewed by him and his team as rehearsals for the back to back GPs. That will also be a lot of flying, time zone adjustments and tough competitors. And I fully expect that his performance will improve on each outing. He will be doing a lot of work on that FS.

We all want no doubts or questions about whether he should be on that team or not. He keeps earning his place over and over!

Which other competition is Jason skating in before the GP? When is it?
