2025 Grand Prix de France Where Are You Watching?

Sorry I am back with more questions! Do you think it’s a good sign that I can watch this video in Ireland?

I mean that GP will not be geoblocked in Ireland after all?
Last year, there was a TV station with rights in my country, but youtube still worked. I think there are different 'tiers' of rights they can buy and not all are exclusive.

Edit: That clip is just a promo, that's not geoblocked. You can tell now by whether you can see the tiles for the upcoming transmissions on the Live tab on the channel, they're up now.

If we can, does that mean we will be able to watch on YT?

Same here, the station that bought rights for Poland is the same group I work in, so they probably bought cheapest option (because that's what they do...) and I'm happy to watch on YT. If I had to watch in TV, it would have to be muted all the time because one of commentators is former low level skater and idiot who never shuts up yapping her nonsense during programs and I really can't hear her without feeling deep second hand embarassment and other one isn't very knowledgable, but at least stays quiet until music stops.

So Norway is one option for VPN YouTube? Any others? Bhutan? I am thinking I should get a VPN other than the extension on google chrome as a backup.

A question for experienced VPN users: which one are you using these days? Needs to work for Youtube, willing to pay of course.
There is a free extension VPN with limited countries on Google chrome. Proton works fine. 120 countries. Just make sure you buy it by the Month. $10. So you can cancel.

I can see the YouTube tiles here in Canada. That probably means a VPN to Canada would work with YouTube. If it doesn't, you could VPN to Canada and watch on CBC streaming. It is usually same content as YouTube stream, but no pause or rewind while streaming. After the fact, can replay CBC streams, but they may be hard to find. At least CBC puts ads at the start, not at random spots in the middle of programs, as YouTube done on the replay.

I just tried the ISU YT GP France Women's Sp stream with my VPN set to Ireland and there was no error message. It appeared to bring up the stream. This is no guarantee as my VPN provider's server addresses are not always accurate per country. But I tried it with my VPN server set to California where I live and got a not available in your country error message. So I think you might have a good chance of the ISU YT stream working for you in Ireland. Happy watching to you, hopefully. Also working for me was VPN set to Canada server and Netherlands server. :)
