A good skate from Lorine. Big 3Lz in the combination to start, and a big solo 3Lo. Holds the axel landing, with those forward-reaching arms. Very neat lunging movement on a circle in the step sequence, loved the way her extended leg swept around. Into third for the time being!

Beth Hart's cover of Stairway kick's ass, but it's the wrong skater. Give it to a guy. Han Yan! He skated to another one of her songs when he was active.

Hopefully Jia and her choreographer, presume it's David Wilson, will have a peek at the Chopin's comp for ideas. Sad she missed a jump.

Jia just seemed nervy today . She skated this program so well at Nebelhorn, please go watch it if you haven't already. She's a wonderful skater when she's on with great jumps, she just seemed a little disconnected throughout this whole program. Her lower body was doing great movements but from the neck up she just seemed a little out of it. Hopefully this will take some of the pressure off in the free and she can skate freely then.

Why Jia fall off that badly compared to her at the age of 15? She was a pleasure to watch,but since last season it's really difficult to accept her skating
