I love Isabeau's skating but I despise the second piece of music she uses, I wish she stayed with the first piece only. It is a miracle the French crowd did not revolt at the absolute murder of their culture with that song. The combo technique looks wonky still but everything else is beautiful, that camel spin was incredible and she has such neat lines. She's such a charismatic performer as well, it'll be interesting to see where she ends up in comparison to Rion.

Does Isabeau have a Cinema Paradiso in both programs? She is very elegant and appealing, so when she skates, I kinda don't mind her jumps, but they do look ugly in warm-up. It's last year's SP, side view.

Flips are cursed today. Though, to be fair, this was much better than I expected after her Challenger skates. I think she's on her way back, and really, she'll have to peak at the selection competition(s).
She said she injured her ankle (before Nepela) and there's also the lasting effects of her traffic accident which still seems to hurt her back (case in point, she took out her half Biellemann). Please let her back and ankle all be healthy before Ranking/Nationals...
