A bit surprised to see Riku answering the questions because I know Ryuichi can speak English. However, he did seem a little exhausted, in which case I can understand declining the questions.

Then stay up and watch it. I will probably get up early, but more like 6 a.m.I will probably still be drunk
I really don't need thisBut we can only have so much Puccini and Bocelli (or Vivaldi, though not that utilized much this season), give me either the underused composers (Donizetti, Pugni, Rossini, Bellini, or even Verdi) or Mina
I really don't need this
Well.. they were VERY disappointed. Max said " we just need to skate more together". And I think that's a fair assessment and goes in the "team work" category of comment. I mean, this is one of the teams with the best twist and lifts in the world. Usually easy points for them. I do not remember ever seeing them making major mistakes on two of those elements in the same competition. Yet, it happened here. So, of course they are confused and in their head first... I think they are fine.I am perplexed with Deanna and Max. Every team has a bad skate but it bothers me that there doesn't seem to be a lot of camraderie,"I'm here for you" vibes. I'd like to see them a bit more supportive of each other.
She is not that young, there is probably so much training she can handle, and it takes longer to recover. Maybe it's good that it happened here, they still have time to work it out.Well.. they were VERY disappointed. Max said " we just need to skate more together". Minerva Fabienne-Hase was ill for that event and the Georgian skaters were given inflated GOE and PCS in all events. I am not sure it is a reliable indicator for the rest of the season. The Georgian pair have started well, but I am not sure that the difference is as great as the scores from that event suggested. The Georgians are coming into this season so strong and improved, even managing to beat the Germans in their last event. Deanna and Max really could not afford a deflated and mistake filled program like that. Shocking!
There is Paganini and Respighi, baroque and renaissance, and movie music. But we can only have so much Puccini and Bocelli (or Vivaldi, though not that utilized much this season), give me either the underused composers (Donizetti, Pugni, Rossini, Bellini, or even Verdi) or Mina
I just got back from a weekend in Pennsylvania & there is an old fashion candy store where I load up on chocolate candy balls filled with alcohol like rum, creme de menthe, amaretto,Jack Daniel's etc. Watching pairs while munching on them.pralines with alcohol as a fill? alcohol flavoured candies? i promise they exist
I think there are two versions of skate together at play here and I am not sure which one he meant. She is not that young, there is probably so much training she can handle, and it takes longer to recover. Maybe it's good that it happened here, they still have time to work it out.
Paganini No thank youThere is Paganini and Respighi, baroque and renaissance, and movie music.
I'm not sure that skating more is the answer. I am concerned about them overdoing things and then ending up unable to compete. The twist was a fluke mistake for them. It may be something as simple as Deanna being on the way down with a cold and her ears and balance (which would affect twisting) being slightly off.Well.. they were VERY disappointed. I was thinking that it's the first time she skates without her hair fully tied up and that may be an issue LOLI'm not sure that skating more is the answer. Paganini No thank you
Respighi, I cannot believe nobody is skating to Pines of Rome.
Morricone, Nino Rota for instance, not classical but very suitable and enjoyable music for skating.
Bellini, Donizetti, Boccherini, Busoni, Cherubini... there are so many but skaters usually pick "greatest hits only"
Cherubini has a great Requiem ...
The Dies Irae is fabulously intense and I can see it being skated.
I just hope they will fire whomever is responisible for this atrocityLast lift?! Every one in pairs and dance has been botched for the past two days. Hopefully tomorrow will be better but I’m not expecting that. My hopes are camera crews for the rest of season take careful notes on what NOT to do.
Looks like a normal reaction, and nobody blaming anybody is a good sign.Well.. they were VERY disappointed. Max said " we just need to skate more together".
