Those are such plain costures for something Madi designed.

The costume is better but the black gets lost on the tv and I cannot see the details. They need to add some color or some better bling.

Lots of cool ideas in there but it's still not completely coming together for me. They're very sophisticated in their transitions and presentation and I really enjoyed the last third.

I think Madison's long skirt is purposely chosen to give the illusion of speed across the ice. Obviously they are not one of the faster teams, and that has been one of the greatest criticisms of them though obviously the judges haven't seemed to care that much over the last couple years.., but with the skirt flying around, it does create the illusion that they are carrying more speed than they actually are.

Yes. Music and costumes can do a lot to hide and accentuate a team's strengths and weaknesses.

Gorgeous, amazing skate from Madison and Evan! That performance I'll be re-watching! They're so amazing, so creative and so precision-based, which is not an easy combination to achieve, but they keep on doing it.

Wow I thought the was much improved from C/B since Cup of China. I know ppl don’t like this FD but I like it. Madi’s shape making should not be taken for granted. She really is incredible in her commitment. I also appreciate that C/B challenge themselves with new styles. I think this will be fantastic by the time we get to the Olympics.

As a reminder, it's one sip for level 1s, two for the level Bs, three for the ! on choreo elements, and four for falls caused by a long skirt, twizzle falls, lift errors and other ice dance disasters.

Oh that makes sense cause I did think it looked more like a practice outfit. I loved all the beading on the original outfit.

To be fair, part of the reason they are slower than some teams is the complexity of choreography and hold. Open skating is faster skating.

C/B always improve dramatically through the season and make changes to their choreo, too. This was a lot better than their last assignment. GPF will likely be significantly better.
