Holiday Prep and celebrations

Next weekend will prepare the Christmas tree and send the cards .. In December like usual will prepare a mini Christmas tree on my desk
It is snowing today. Our first of the year.

So I decided to put up my Xmas decos... LOL... It's tiny. I am not very into decorating much because I don't like to have to find space for storing all these things that are used for a couple weeks and then gone.

So I have a tiny Xmas tree... about 12 inches high LOL, led garland lights and a wooden reindeer next to the tree.

Falalalala. LOL.

This is the max I can put up with and this is new from last year... in the past several years, there was absolutely no deco in my place :)

I am just a bit less of a grinch this year :)
Mine that prepare for my desk at the office is around 7 inches and with a lights that synch with the music and can set up brightness and color sequences .. is so funny even my officemates makes jokes about my desk sometimes every December.. soon would send a video how will look my desk on December

That's great your Grinch level is decreasing .I think is a time of the year for enjoy moreover the last month of the year and deserve end this year with good mood for begin a new year..

I'm seeing a lot of Christmas, but I'm decorated for Thanksgiving.

That's because you have that extra holiday in between Hallowe'en and Christmas. Those of us in other countries skip that and go straight from carved pumpkins to the decorated trees. I have my two middling size trees set up, but haven't put any decorations on them yet.

Hi @Diana Delafield - I should've clarified. I know that other countries don't celebrate Thanksgiving, and Canadian Thanksgiving is in October.

I meant that I've been seeing a lot of Christmas here in the US as well. It seems a lot of people here in the US put up Christmas early.

I have to admit something. I am trying to kill the Grinch in me...

So I have been listening to XMAS music all weekend ;)

I am also planning XMAS dinner for my family : I have been on cooking duties for the last 10 years already but I usually do nothing traditional.

This year : turkey and all the trimmings.. and bûche de Noël . Yup... you cannot go Xmas-ier than that.

It is a gamble... I have only made yule log once before.. It was a success but they are tricky to fold and well, if I fail, I will be grinch-ier than ever :)

No Grinch!!
That is reserved for an American politician who shall remain unnamed 🟩
