What a beautiful version of "Rise Up" by by Andra Day to start us off. It was an piano accoustic version.

Emily MORGAN (Kirkcaldy) was wearing a pale pink dress. And skating beautifully.

A lovely way to begin Day 3.

Jenny has come over the tannoy to tell the next skater that they are having technical problems, and she might want to keep warm during the delay.

Ah, it wasn't much longer after that. Here are the scores.

Well, now that I see Faith FREEMAN (Billingham)'s dress, it looks like a warm one. It is beautiful - all black, with gold pattern.

She is skating to "Danse Macabre". :cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

I absolutely loved that!!!

She was barely half a point ahead of Emily after the SP.

The gap is bigger now. In the wrong direction for Faith.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

Ruby RANSFORD (Sheffield) was wearing a sky blue dress and skating to "Crystallize" by Lindsey Stirling.

Beautiful music, and beautiful skate.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

Lena KMETOVA (Blackpool) is doing a "Swan Lake" programme. She is wearing a gorgrous dress which is all black, apart from a white section at the back.

I love Tchaikovsky. His music is so beautiful. And so was Lena's skating.

She goes into the lead.

Oops. Wrong music for Lola REAY (Billingham). We got Whitney Houston instead of Conchita Wurst.

Well, to be fair, her costume doesn't say "Rise Like A Phoenix".

But, it was sorted out quickly enough.

Anna Pogorilaya spoiled skating to this song for me. Because nobody will ever come close to what she did in her programme to it.

That said, Lola REAY (Billingham) was still good!

She was wearing a dress where the top half was blue, and the bottom half was red.

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

For goodness sake, we know that Backstreet's Back! We don't need to hear it during this Warm-Up!

I'm sure we'll be hearing plenty of it in the next segment. And tomorrow!

@La Rhumba - they're playing some Turkish music for you! "Şimarık"by Tarkan.

But the warm up ended before we got too far into it.

Oh, how I wish we hadn't had a Warm-Up there now. I have long wanted to have programmes to "Rise Like A Phoenix" and "Firebird" properly back-to-back.

Jessica McILVOGUE (Olympia) was wearing the sort of dress you would expect for a somebody portraying a phoenix / firebird. Oranges and yellows.

And boys but she skated well to it!

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

Hang on, this isn't Rihanna. This is the music that the Dutch girl was skating to in Istanbul about an hour ago! "Genesis" by the African Footprint Company

Oh, wait. Now Rihanna has arrived. But then it turned into another song in the final third.

Olivia WALLACE (Olympia) was wearing a black jumpsuit with a gold line swirling around it. And I am pretty sure I saw the exact same jumpsuit in the past couple of days.

Good skate.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

Now it's time for Whitney Houston!

Nicole BRENNAN (Magnum) was wearing a red dress, and skating to a medley of Whitney Houston songs, of various different tempos!

She coped well with the changes of tempo.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

Adele told us that the sky would fall, but she didn't tell us that Anna DRUMMOND (Dundee) would too!

But, it was just the once.

She is wearing a dress that is mainly black, but is has a silver bra-like section, and a silver necklace-like section,

She goes into 5th position in both the FS and overall.

Amy-Jayne ROBSON (Aberdeen) is another skater who is wearing a dress I am pretty sure I have seen before recently. But not with this music. Because I commented about it looking like a beach and the sea.

She was sakting to a medley of a whole pile of music that I don't know.

She goes into 3rd position in both the FS and overall.

Resurfacing now. Back at half past.

Is there a school excursion to the skating? There was a lot of rowdy chanting before the pictures went away.

Right, I'm away back to Istanbul to catch up on some of the boys.

We're back.

And they are warming up to Cher. Specifically "It's In His Kiss".

Then when it finished, we got a bit of "Spaceman" by Babylon Zoo.

But then Jenny came on to give the 1 minute warning. And when she finished, we got Alesha Dixon singing "The Boy Does Nothing" instead of the rest of "Spaceman".

CaroLiza_fan

Oh, no. The kids are being rowdy. You could tell Jenny was getting frustrated when introducing Lottie BENNETT (Magnum). And then we heard a teacher sushing them.

I could cry for Argentina if this goes on.

Yes, Lottie was skating to what I presume was a medley from "Evita".

She was wearing a red dress.

Good skate.

She goes into 6th position in both the FS and overall.

Isabella QIU (Romford) was wearing a dress of various shades of blue. And skating to "Not About Angels" by Birdy,

Everything about that was beautiful. The music, the costume, and the skating.

Oh, I wish those kids would shut up!

She goes into 4th position in the FS, and 3rd position overall.

CaroLiza_fan

Piper LANG (Olympia) was wearing a red dress,

She was skating to "Breakfast In Baghdad" by Youn Sun Nah. But, I wish it had been without the vocals. The instrumental would have been epic!

But, the skating was good.

She goes into 2nd position in the FS, and the lead overall.

Kaitlyn Ngoi Kiu LEUNG (Guildford) was wearing a beautiful black dress with sparkly silver trim.

I don't know the music, but according to the livescoring page it is by Richard Rodney Bennett. Whatever it was, it was beautiful!

And so was Kaitlyn's skating!

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

And no reaction at all from her.
