Such a good skate from Saki! That was a great 3A attempt and the rest of her jumps are so big and effortless. Her choreo sequence was fantastic, she was performing beautifully throughout that element.

Saki has a Gabby Daleman like 3T+3T. The rest of her jumps are also similarly unpredictable. Nice basic skating. Her performance doesn't do much for me. But, she was committed at the end.

Mako's skating is also incredible, her combo in the SP was probably the best of the entire event. Unfortunately, she couldn't get her 3+3 off cleanly tonight but this was still a strong program for her. The jumps were a little tight in the second half but she fought for everything. I love the musicality of that choreo sequence and the held ina bauer and spread eagle, and she was rightfully rewarded in the GOE for that element.

Great jumps from Mako and some unpredictably. She's charming but not refined.

I hope Mako will get some more international assigments next year, she's such a brilliant skater, she deserves to be seen

That probably won't be enough to beat Saki, but Mako should be very proud of herself keeping everything together That emergency 3Lz3T in the second half was so gutsy!!!

I'm so happy to see Mana come back stronger after her disappointments and injuries of the past few seasons, she's improved her artistry so much and I'm happy to see she's restored her 3A. She took the fall tonight but it was a really solid attempt. The opening few jumping passes were a little tight but she got better as the program went along and has been looking strong in practice. She seemed really winded at the end of the program, which hindered the step sequence a lot, but her jumps are looking strong and confident.
