every nation has 3 spots for 4ccI thought Canada only has 2 spots for 4CC.
There are no quotas for 4CC. All countries who all eligible to compete there get three spots in each discipline.I have one major wish for the olympics: Stephen needs a better costume. It looks terrible. It reminds me of a cheap 1980s polyester v-neck sweater that a grandma would wear. It is not suited or tailored to his physique, and not befitting of Rachmaninoff, nor an Olympic appearance.
it's getting betterSadly, I think his free skate program is interpreted badly
definitely. 3f-3a is awesomeBut, he has great combos and is a fighter!!
70s ? I think 85 is a bit high... but I think that he should be in the 80s. there is a lot of content in this program.I’m just glad the decision to send GoGo is an easy one. I’m don’t agree with the PCS score. GoGo should have been in the 70s. Roman had the best free skate to me.
You went with the logic for selections. My selections:
Olympics/Worlds: GoGo
(Alternates: Roman, Aleksa)
4CC: Roman, Aleksa, Wesley
JWC: David B
That’s great news!every nation has 3 spots for 4cc
1.85 meters... Pretty tall. How tall is Gogolev? It's strange, he doesn't look particularly that tall but he is very thin with very long arms. He lacks control of his body movements and so, he looks quite clumsy on the ice. It's a real pity because it takes a lot away from his performance.
A couple of mistakes but his tech generally holds on, and he wins this thanks to his SP advantage. Not the most engaging skating or performance though, from the skates I saw, not just Keegan or Roman were better performance-wise, but even the skater before him, Chiu. Hopefully he can improve.
perhaps the tallest in the world LOLOh they're bring them out starting with bronze now, I like that more.
This will be such a tall podium.
in the last cycle yes. Any event with Patrick Chan in it was betterI have to say that I think this was the best senior men's Canadian championships I have seen. (bearing in mind I didn't see any from before the age of international digital streaming!)
Technical is pretty close to roman, actually. Only a few points higher! I could almost see Roman winning the free skate, although obviously it won't be enough to put him ahead overall
his music is offensively blandI hate it too... I am not sure why skaters use his music ad nauseam... all his pieces are the same four bars repeated for ten pages.
