2025-26 Canadian Olympic/Championship Selection Criteria and Pools

2026 Synchro Championship Selection Criteria is now available.

With this one, their international season starts after Nationals so their selection will be later. There are CTES requirements (35 Junior/43 Senior), the Canadian teams are well above them (Senior CTES statistics / Junior CTES statistics)

This looks like the Debra Armstrong interview about the Olympic selection process they've been playing on the Dailymotion streams, now in YouTube form. I'm on the phone so I'm assuming it's the same interview.

Olympic selection will be livestreamed at 7 PM (EST I'm assuming) as per Joni MacPhail. I'm thinking it'll be the Dailymotion livestreams again.

I don't know, that may be press release instead. I hope they include them, they've been hyping up the chances for 4CC Olympic year spots.

I think the only think unclear about the Olympics is the alternates.

I think Lia and Trentt should get the nod for the FS as the national champs if they make it that far in the team event.

Yeah... I am going to watch mostly by due diligence but I don't expect any surprises. I was hoping for 4CC and JWC announcements and perhaps even WC announcements but I guess we will have to wait.

4CC is coming up in two weeks…..
I guess they need confirmation from Olympic athletes prior to officially picking the 4CC athletes
