While I was watching the BBC waiting for Robin's co-commentator to introduce herself, I heard Robin say that Daria DANILOVA / Michel TSIBA (NED) had their place in the Olympic team confirmed last week after Daria got her citizenship.



No Robin, it wasn't citizenship issues that was the problem. It was NOC putting up unnecessary hurdles issues.

Led Zeppelin's "Stairway To Heaven" is one of my favourite songs. And we have the actual original version here. And edited very nicely too to fit the time.

Needless to say, even though there were issues, I loved that!!!

Daria started crying as soon as they finished. And she still was when they met their coaches at the boards.



She had stopped by the time the replays had finished. And they looked happy enough.

They go into the lead of both the FS and overall.

My Mum glanced up at the TV, and when she saw Irma CALDARA / Riccardo MAGLIO (ITA) she went "Oh My God!"

I take it that it was Irma's blue jumpsuit rather than Riccardo's green shirt and trousers. (I assume Riccardo is portraying a soldier, and Irma is his love interest).

Either way, the two costumes do not go together at all. And they do not go well with the music either.

But, the skating did go well with the music. I enjoyed it!

They go into 2nd position in the FS, and the lead overall.
