A well deserved victory for Georgia and M/B. I wasn’t convinced they would hold up under the pressure but they did. It was a clear victory. I feel a bit nervous during their lifts. No Georgian lady , it’d be nice to see her smile.

I could see Minerva getting treated by the doctor in the background, hopefully it’s nothing to serious. Nika rushing out to congratulate them.

Over both programmes, my favourites were the Hungarians. I’d have given them second today.

I think it was always going to be a Japanese gold in Milano, it’s odd on now. Whether they deserve it or not, they’ve been generously treated this year by the judges.

Georgians win. I find them technically sound but mechanical in their performance. But they deserved first here.
Too bad for Hase and Volodyn. That fall at the end was bizarre. It seems like Volodyn just let go at the end and Hase ends up with a nasty hip bruise (hopefully that's all it is). I am drawn to Minerva and her classical style.
Yay for the Hungarians finally getting some recognition.
I'm still hoping that the Japanese and possibly the Germans (Hase/Volodyn) grab the Olympic gold.

I'm really pleased that the Hungarians have finally got a medal, but it is the wrong colour. I really do think that they should have been ahead of Hase/Volodin.

Everyone seems to be very happy on the podium and great respect among each other. 5 former Russians and a German making up the podium.

Georgian lady at the boards and looking very happy. A lot of the fans stayed back and high fiving the skaters, really nice atmosphere.

Nastia gunning for Olympic gold

I love RikuRyu and praying for perfect skates from them at the Olympics, but the Georgians are technically better (still not a fan of their presentation) and if both teams skated without major mistakes, they deserve to win. Riku's shoulder injury is also a concern. The Germans, Italians and Hungarians are definitely in the mix as well. Hope Minerva isn't seriously injured from her fall.

Wasn't they the reason he messed up lifts , but he learned to ignore them. They are so distracting.
