I’m devastated for P/P, it must be so hard to continue knowing you have basically lost the chance of an Olympic medal.

I do wonder if the judges look upon them less favourably (and the French as well) after speaking out against the judging at Grand Prix Finland.

I also wonder if Chock and Bates having input from the head of the ISU tech comittee has played in their favour. Things this season really just don’t seem fair.

silver lining... Piper and Paul did earn higher PCS than Lilah and Lewis.

It'll matter much more in the FD, or so I'm telling myself

Also, Nicholas Russell, the British judge gave them the lowest score on every single element... both in GOE and PCS.
He is the only judge who gave Piper and Paul a score below 9 in the PCS categories. Knew it.

I almost hope that the Canadian judge will lower her scores to compensate... .

The Canadian judge gave Lilah and Lewis fair scores in GOE.. pretty much the same as the British judge.

She did serve them with a 8.75 in composition but also gave them a very high 9.50 in presentation, above what she gave to the Canadians. So she seems fair... I cannot say the same of Nicholas Russell.....

You know, when you dislike someone you don't even know how they look like... just by looking at figure skating protocols.

Actually agree based on GOE and PCS the bronze could go to the Canadians, the Brits, or the Italians. The judges as a whole don't have a favorite. It will come down to the levels and performance on the day.

favoured the Brits. but not as blatantly as the British judge did.
I also liked that she punished the French for the twizzles... very few judges dare to do so and we all saw Guillaume struggling through them
