Am I delusion to still think clean Yuma could and should beat clean Ilia in the short segment?
Anyway, I'm nervous for Yuma, desperatly want him to have a good experience here.
Also, usually I'm not a huge Daniel's fan but I make exception for today for the sake of team Italy.

Thank goodness they inherit the Pairs slot from the Uzbek partnership. Imagine finally getting to the Olympics in what is probably your swansong season, and only getting to do the one programme in the Team event.

Oh, I hate the way that all the team events in this sport have different rules. It is so hard to remember which event uses which set of rules.

Only the first five Teams get to the Free Skates/Free Dance. This format is not well thought out, in my opinion, because the SP/RD outweighs the FP/FD. Bombing completely a Free Skate will guarantee your team six points. Besides, the turnaround between the Men's SP and the Free Dance is so tight.

Afair the cut has always been done at the Olympic team event. But I think letting them all do the fs would be better. It wouldn't take so much time anyways.
