And rightly so. It was such a joy to watch.Thank you Mr. Anthony LEROY for not being shy - he gave 10 to Yuma for presentation. Also, all judges gave him +5 for steps.

I think it's lucky that this is ranking based, because the actual scores... are rage inducing. No way. You're telling me that he has better skating skills than kevin? Or Cha from korea? Please.... he was very ragged throughout, and his basic blades on ice skill in terms of speed and glide and effortlessness is not close to yuma. I'm glad to see that there was over half a point difference in their skating skills marks, but is that really all it's worth? I could see justification for Ilia getting one or two points lower in PCs, maybe a 42 or 43.
I think the USFS has always been quite aware of this but they give the skaters a lot of choice. If Ilya doesn't want to do the team long, they won't make him.He ALWAY had to do the FS for US to win gold. It was very obtuse of them to think otherwise.
They don’t have a second same or even close calibre of men.
Now we're going to have a pity party for Ilia? He's just a kid? Bad sportsmanship. Snap out of it. You win some, you lose some.
What? He's an athlete, interviews straight after performance are quite common and normal in every sport. What kind of interview?? And why they jump on skaters immediately after skate? It is so disprespectful and psychologically wrong. No wonder there have been skaters who always said no to interviews immediately after skate.
Welcome!Hello, everyone. I have really enjoyed reading your comments for the past couple of years although it took a while to figure out cacti and other forum references. But seeing Yuma's incredible skate prompted me to register finally. I was smiling and laughing and jumping around and clapped wildly and just wanted to join with all of you!

I think he’s been preawarded the OGM too many times by NBC and is in danger of pulling a Nathan Chen.Yes they waited till olympics.
His practices i thought was triples not quads or that many
Thank you!Welcome!
Yuma....usually scores in this range. Who out of the Men are you giving high GOE and PCS if not him?In my opinion both Yuma and Stephen amwas gifted. Overscored by 10 points.
I would put Yuma on 1st with a 99 or ahalf point ahead.
Stephen should had a 82 or 89
It baffles me that that they are again preawarding the OGM. They should listen to me moreIt baffles me to this day that they didn’t send him. It’s like they learnt nothing from Nathan’s first trip.
It too much.Thank you Mr. Anthony LEROY for not being shy - he gave 10 to Yuma for presentation. Also, all judges gave him +5 for steps.
