Trying to watch super bowl preview.
Casablanca showing on my PBS station
Team event of pairs.
I was able to watch Seven Year Itch before team figure skating started.

Damn it!! I knew that lack of axel would make a difference.

68 (SP) + 134 (FP) = 202 SB
First time over 200 for this pairs team
They did beat their SB by over ten points though…

When their coaches and Mike ( 🤮 ) said “you did everything you can do!!), I’m here eye rolling…. No…. You could have scored over 136 if you just added a simple 1A …. 😔
But it's also possible that if they had done the second Axel in the sequence she would have had that much less energy left to hold onto the throws. They skated really well and I'm so proud of them!

ITA
3Twist - solid

Triple toe single axle double axle sequence, he falls out, hers was tight

Side by side salchows perfect

Throw Triple Loop - a little forward but I don't think she touched.

Great death spiral.

He does not seem to be as emoting as much as he usually does.

Throw triple Sal perfect.

One of the best programs this year for sure. They performed it well though I feel like I've seen him give it more in the past.

I would almost let the top 6 compete the free 👀

Two warms ups for dance and pairs. And it makes the FP worth more.
I politely disagree, pairs are dangerous already without cramming 12 people on the ice

Edit: distracted reading, no comprehension :palmf: sorry
