If you would like to get a glimpse of PaulE, I published a pic of his view during pairs. He is above the judges but for the ladies he is more to the right, if you are standing on center ice. He has on his Goldenskate yellow ballcap and a bown coat. The video editor has not been kind so I couldnt get a good screen shot of him. The fat blue railing is the bane of front rowers. He gave me permission to rat him out. LOL!

Hi, still at home healing and recovering. I honestly haven't watched a women's Olympic individual event before and am hoping it will help with the healing process.

I have a lot of hope for the ladies... hoping they will be the redeeming factor of the olympics after the results of the mens and the drama with the dance. Although we got through the pairs relatively drama-free!! also the ladies looked great in practice this morning!

As an American, I'll be delighted to see any of the US women on the podium. Isabeau is my favorite but they each have their own unique style and strengths. I'm very proud of all of them.

That said, Kaori skated like a goddess in the team event. If she can replicate that in the women's free, I'd say the OGM is hers -- and rightly so!

DUH...getting ahead of myself since today is just the SP.

Kaori really thrives in the short program, I expect her to go in first after today. I could also see Amber or Ami taking the lead if their 3As are solid. Im conflicted on where to place Adeliia, Ive heard rumors that she wont be attempting a 3A in the short? if she does I can see her pulling up to the lead as well

Because of the earlier start today, I am eating at the moment.

However, since there is a lot of stuff on tomorrow that I want to watch (my kid in the Women's Slalom, F1 Testing), I am going to watch as much of the girls as I can tonight.

So, because I want to see all the girls in Group 1, I am going to delay the start, and then skip forward during the resurfacings in the hope of catching up with you guys.
