I wonder if Alysa will skate to Lady Gaga or Donna Summer. I honestly really like McArthur Park but who knows
I have two problems with the Macarthur Park - my favourite versions are forever and always the Richard Harris (shut up, I know his singing is... a thing) and Weird Al, so Alysa's is never 'right' for me...

Let's see:
  • Everything is possible for the podium.
  • Nakai… great skate… but one thing is being the third Japanese lady and another is being the contender for gold… can she hold it? She looked like a happy child skating ...
  • Sakamoto – I think she will medal, but I'm not sure about gold since she’s making mistakes that could cost her first place (maybe being second is good for her).
  • Alysa Liu… well, now all the American chips are on her. With the results in men’s and dance, we’ll see how much effort the Americans will put into making her win...
  • Mona… she’s an enigma. Without the pressure of being at the top, she can skate clean or not… but with Adelia skating before her…
  • Adelia… she has the podium is within reach.... To be honest, I thought she would be at a greater disadvantage without a 3A in the SP if compare to the podium... so she has a choiceskate clean or go for the sky ... if she lands the 4T, she will medal. .. and I hope she does because the pressure on her is criminal ( being select one yer before, with lesions, without a coach ( even if is Eteri), being bully online for being russian.. ) .. I want her to have a good LP
  • Gubanova…please keep the 6 .. do a LP like the teams event ...
I’m sad for Samodelkina… she deserves better.... I hope she can reach the top ten.

The women are close. It Ami too lose.
All ladies have to skate clean if want to medal. A point separation from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd.
2points from 3rd to 4th 2 points from 4th to 5th.
1 point separation 6, 7 and 8 mere tenths.
I think a total 8 points from 1st to 8th not sure.
Great job

What - no French judge to blame? I see.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Well if it helps we have two judges here in KAZ and ISR who where the only ones happy
to put Petrosian up in third which to me is too much considering the top 3 performances,
so at least she has "friends" in the panel :sneaky:

FYI - Alysa has always been the one the US has had their ‘chips’ on. Amber’s never been consistent. Isabeau still has a great shot, but it will take an amazing free skate. I feel she is on the same level as Moni and Ami.
