Deserved 1st place for Nakai. I like when the most ambitious win sometimes.
Congrats to Adeliia for getting in the last group despite skating 2nd.
Top 3 can very be the medalists at the end but anything can happen.
I just hope Jia and Mone will skate well.

Now i'm off watching Ilya Rozanov talk in an hilarious accent in the french version.

Have you considered a career in motivational speaking?

Amber can skate her FS totally free of pressure and expectations now.
Well at least she isn't the Canadian girl. Who is going home without skating her fs. Gabby Daleman must be laughing. But Amber probably won't even be in the penulatimate group.
Tbh I don't think Gabby will be happy about her rival's misfortune. She knows all about mental health!

I think she can take it .. because she has a 3A ( and a good one) .. so even in the worst scenario she is still fighting for podium.
I think the problem was the LP in teams .. she was affected by it
I think there is something in her head and she just can't find a way to get rid of it. Still hoping the best.

This was really a roller coaster of emotions.

I am happy that the Japanese women did so well. I also appreciated Alysa Liu's calmness given the situation. Also great to see Loena Hendrickx skate a clean program with the style she's known for.

I'm sorry about Amber and Isabeau messing up on their loops (though Isabeau's mistake was significantly less costly). Hopefully they can skate well in the free.

As i am the supporter of Adeliia Petrosian, hope she can do 2 quads in FP, only then she can be on the podium. I cross my fingers. I wish her the best. I am not so much interested in the other skaters, as their FP is simply classic, usually no exciting parts could be expected.

I’ll take a beautifully skated program without the quads over her clunky skating.

Isn't what they got anything against her ... it's that she skated after Lui ( and looked boring ..)... and if American federation has to protect one or two was amber and LUi
Baloney on that last part--USFS isn't sacrificing Isabeau so they can "protect" Alysa and Amber. Not sure how the Fed would do that anyway. As for being at a disadvantage skating after Liu, sort of. I've thought since last fall that Isabeau's SP music/choreo was not a good strategic choice for the Olympic season. Too similar to the previous year's (better) Moon River program, too cutesy where she needed some gravitas.
