Info 2026 World Figure Skating Championships

For G/A no surprise, the Olympics were supposed to be their last competition (still sad tho, I adored them). The Anna situation is weird all around...
Ghilardi/Ambrosini are also not on the list, forgot to mention them...also Anna Pezzetta isn't even listed as a substitute and has also been replaced for Junior Worlds...🤔
Yeah, not a good sign all together...
From what I read on twitter, Anna will be competing as a senior at the Sonia Henje trophy instead.
Presumably more ranking points?

Entries are online:

Ah, didn't realise that the Provisional Entry Lists for Senior Worlds were out yet. (I thought they might wait until Junior Worlds were over).

Thank you for letting us know.  :points:

:thank:

Since I just did the same for Junior Worlds, I will add in the links the old format pages for Senior Worlds, for those of us that prefer them.

Ladies: https://results.isu.org/events/wc2026_Women.htm
Men: https://results.isu.org/events/wc2026_Men.htm
Pairs: https://results.isu.org/events/wc2026_Pairs.htm
Ice Dance: https://results.isu.org/events/wc2026_IceDance.htm

Hope this helps

Do you have the links for the old style main page where all four groups are listed?

I'm sorry. I only realised when I saw this post there now that we were each talking about different pages in the Junior Worlds thread.

It is the 2026 version of this page (2025 Senior Worlds) that you are talking about:

I'm afraid I don't know the address for this year. As you can see from last year's link, the address is just a string of numbers that don't relate to anything. So, the address can't be worked out.

Sorry I couldn't be of help.

I'm not surprised about either Loena or Riku/Ryuichi. I would have liked to see them but Loena had to fight so hard to get back, and Riku/Ryuichi had a triumph that will be difficult to repeat....they will want to rest. Not that I am not disappointed. I am. Very much so. But both are so understandable.

Nagaoka and Moriguchi will have to place top ten to keep Japan's two spots. They most likely should but the issue of course is that if RR comes back next year and Japan has lost a spot, they could be missing out on worlds 2027. This is what I don't like about top athletes skipping worlds after Olympics. Actually, let me rephrase that : this is what I hate about earning spots for the following year. This archaic rule needs to change. Let athletes earn their own spots the year of the event. Ugh 😩

First withdrawal: Loena isn't going.
Tell me you're retiring without actually saying you're retiring. No shade meant at all here. I've been a big Loena fan for years, and she's had a very long and impressive career  But Belgium will drop to one spot, and that spot will belong to Nina. Loena had good skates at the Olympics despite the low placement, and that would be a happy ending.

Nina is 13th on the list above (best scores).. She is not too far away from making top 12 if Jade makes the free. Making top 10 is a bit harder but not impossible. But yeah, most likely, Belgium will be down to one spot.
