Not their best skate, but that's probably still enough for the title here. They have a lead on the Ukrainians and while I have a lot of love for Jazmine and Kieran, I don't see them outskating this either.

I think this team is just a tad too young/rough around the edges to pull off this romantic poet/embodiment of the moon concept. Maybe in a couple more seasons

you should watch them when they have skated the program perfectly well. they actually probably have the best skating skills of this entire field.

Ava wearing a light blue dress with a total solar eclipse over her left breast. (It was a total lunar eclipse this week. And you're a couple of days late!) Yohnatan wearing a dark blue shirt and dark blue trousers.

Ava fell. But the rest was beautiful.

And they get flower crowns too!

But they are not wearing them.

For goodness sake, Hannah HERRERA / Ivan KHOBTA (UKR) are still wearing their's!

They go into the lead of both the FS and overall.

That was a really good fight from Jazmine and Kieran, but I fear there were just one too many errors in that program to take the title with their lower SBS jump BV, they really needed to land one of those throws cleanly. Still, this was a strong FS from them, they are the fastest team in the event and have a lot of amazing choreo in this program, and they are definitely becoming more confident and consistent.

edit: the thing that really sealed their fate is PCoSp2V... WORK ON YOUR SPINS PLEASE, these things can literally cost you medals!!!!!

That’s got to be Beth Hart or someone like that, shrieking over the Zep track, right?
I kind of thought they looked a bit going-through-the motions. All in all I think I liked the earlier groups much more

I think they had it until that fall.. but now, will they hold on the second place ? I think they had enough lead and the last spin.. I was hoping the tech panel wouldn't play with that element.. sigh

The messy spin may have cost them a title. I think they have better lifts and slightly better PCS than Ava and Yohni but much weaker throws and solo jumps. Should be enough for medal though. What a successful season for Bruno as a coach.

Jazmine wearing a black jumpsuit that is supposed to look like an open waistcoat and trousers. (Well, Robert Plant did have form for having open shirts. And due to Robert's long hair, she looks more like him than Kieran). Kieran wearing a black T-shirt and black trousers.

Right, I'm giving them the title just for using this song!

I absolutely loved that!!!

And as well as the great music, the skating was great too!!!

They go into 4th position in the FS, and 2nd position overall.

They are delighted. I'm not.

They have just been crowned Junior World Champions, and even now, they are still not wearing their flower crowns.

They haven't even opened them!

Very disappointed.

After all the hard work @NoNameFace put into making them, she deserves better than this.

Well, it was NOT without a bit of worry and nail-biting on my part BUT ..... YAY, CANADA for bringing home both the Gold and Silver!
I just don't get to say those words very often!

Congrats to all the medallists. You did great!

And, now I'm off to the grocery store ... not exactly how I'd like to celebrate .... but hubby says he has to eat. So, c'est la vie. Bye for now.
