The final skater is Mao SHIMADA (JPN), who is wearing a beautiful blue dress.

And the music was beautiful too!

That was magnificient!!!

After that, there is no doubt that we are getting two pieces of history today. First Aussie girl on the podium, and first 4 time Junior World Champion.

She is so happy!

When we saw her hugging her coach, she was smiling. But you could see from the colour of her face that she wasn't well.

Hana was clapping like mad! She knows Mao deserves it!

Mao goes into 2nd position in the FS, but wins overall.

Undefeated in international junior competition for 4 years

and she's turning senior next season. things are going to get interesting

Unusual spin mistake, but that was the only indication of her not being well until after the skate was done. Wow, that was a masterclass in competitive mentality. Congratulations

Sophia got a small medal. Mayuko Won pcs. Hana won TES. Great competition.

I hate to be That Person, and I have nothing against Mao Shimada who is a fine little skater, but watching her right after Hana Bath and Mayuko Oba just accentuates how juniorish her skating is comparatively, particularly in her interpretive skills. However, happy that she overcame illness and practice troubles this morning and rallied to Say Goodbye to Juniors in fine style.

I think overall, not. She lost few segments but I don't remember her being beaten.

Great podium, wish there was a fourth spot for Sophia to be up there. Overall great competition and IMO well-judged.
I appreciate the consistency of Shin Amano and his precision Jump Microscope.

Mao has had amazing packaging the last few seasons, but her set of programs this season are my least favourite she's ever had. I think they wanted to do more "junior" programs for her last junior season. Hopefully they will move in a new direction next season, I loved her Passepied FS and Americano SP sooo much.

I am a little upset that Mayuko's PCS scores were so underscored, I know she had the fall but she should have won PCS tonight. I am going to find the judges and bonk them with the PCS stick now until they stop underscoring her

Undefeated in Juniors since her first competition at that level, at Nationals in 2020! And even then she was still on the podium!

Technically once, when she was too young for juniors by two years, but got invited to junior nats after winning the novice championships.

Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya / Harley Windsor won Pairs at Junior Worlds in 2017.

Sorry, I still well up every time I think of Katya.

I am sure she is up there feeling so proud of Hana following her onto the podium.
