Detour via Moscow on the way to the top for French dance team

French ice dancers Nathalie Pechalat and Fabian Bourzat are showing determination as they work their way to the top. They left their coaches, of ten years in Lyon, France to move to Moscow last summer, knowing that it wouldn't be easy to adapt to a foreign country.

Let's hope they can step it up

Considering that they will train much more, it can only help. They used to make mistakes, muscle memory serve you well if trained properly. They are one of the most improved ice dance teams in the world in the past 3 years and we'll see if the coaching change will add to their progress, I think their decision to move was the correct one

I love reading about how they didn't like each other before they started skating together. Because you'd never know it now, they always seem so close in footage that you see of them during competition.

One of my fav Natalie and Fabian moments was actually right before the awards ceremony during NHK this season. Natalie walked over to Fabian and started fixing her hair using his reaction as her "mirror."
