Actually, the story about what the song is about at the bottom of that page is interesting. But, even after reading it, I still don't understand the song!

Cut us some slack — in Russia people don’t really pay attention to the lyrics of English-language songs; we don’t really know much English here anyway. We hear some melodic words playing in the background, and we’re like, “Oh well, let’s go do some twizzles.”

There’s a problem—the judges are insisting that background music be played during the twizzles! You don't need any excuse for Twizzles!![]()
It's ok for casual listener. But c'mon, if you use it for proffesional goal and want to biuld a program with some interpretation or story - no excuse. How hard it is to translate the lyrics in 2026? one click. And there are many people involved - choreographers, coaches etc. It would be very unproffesional and just stupid tbh.Actually, I can sympathise with people listening to songs in different languages and not understanding what they are truly about. I like a lot of German and French songs, but don't always look up translations to find out what the song is about.
Oh... I would have never guessed it is about an unsuccessful psychologist therapy. You don't need any excuse for Twizzles!

But the writer of this song has no excuse! They understand the words, but have still written a load of complete nonsense!![]()
